OUR HISTORY

Timeline

1965

The origins

Uni-Mecc was founded in 1965, when Roberto Bruneri started a small workshop for subcontract mechanical machining, during the peak of the Italian economic boom.

1975

Growth and specialization

With the increase in customers and machinery, the company moved to Villanova Canavese and progressively focused its activities on precision machining and continuous supply for industry.

2003

Expansion into international markets

Uni-Mecc became a direct supplier to major German automotive groups. A new industrial phase began, marked by export growth and the expansion of production facilities. Over time, supplies reached several countries, including Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Mexico, Turkey, Spain, and France.

2008

The new Cafasse facility

To support its growth, Uni-Mecc launched the project for the new facility in Cafasse. Following a complete redevelopment, the site was inaugurated in 2008: a total area of approximately 12,000 sqm, with 3,800 sqm covered and dedicated to production and internal services.

2011

Production investments

New equipment is installed to manage increasing volumes and more complex machining. The machine park is expanded and processes are further structured for serial production.

2015

Continuity and new leadership

After the passing of the founder, the company leadership is taken over by Enrica Bruneri, who continues the development path while preserving the company’s family roots and strong focus on people.

2019

Digitalization and Industry 4.0

Uni-Mecc has integrated a latest-generation ERP system to optimize production processes. This investment enables intelligent flow management and full traceability, ensuring efficiency and on-time delivery in line with the highest international standards.

2025

Female leadership

From July 2025, Silvia Gurlino joins the management team, taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer. Already active within the company for several years, her appointment, in continuity with her mother Enrica Bruneri, marks the transition to the third generation. This step strengthens Uni-Mecc’s identity as a family-owned company strongly committed to the promotion of women in leadership roles.
